Due to significant commercial growth in this sector, WSP Poland is seeking to enhance the expertise of our MEP department. We are currently looking for an mechanical engineer with experience in Romanian market.
In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that embodies our company's core values: solidarity, a passion for large-scale and complex projects, and a spirit of innovation and conviviality.
YOUR NEW ROLE, WHATS INVOLVED?
- Taking a leading role in design work in your field, being responsible for the correctness of technical solutions.
- Analysis of technical solutions and materials for the selection of construction technologies or methods.
- Verifying the correctness and optimization of design solutions, drawing up work estimates.
- Ensuring that projects are completed on time: participation in preparing and adhering to project work schedules.
- Communication with designers, subcontractors and other departments to coordinate work.
- Delivering branch projects effectively to the Project Leader and ensuring that they are completed on time and in accordance with the Client's requirements and the Project Leader's guidelines.
- Communicating and coordinating projects in preparation with other technical teams.
- Taking an active part in communication with the Client and meeting the Client's project requirements.
YOUR TEAM
The design of sanitary systems is an important part of WSP Poland's integrated service offering. Our activities range from heating, ventilation and air conditioning solutions to sanitary network designs for fire protection systems and sprinkler systems.
We use advanced software and tools to enhance and improve the design process. We select innovative technologies such as passive cooling, grey water recovery, cogeneration or intelligent control systems to minimise the energy and utility consumption of the buildings being designed.
The department is managed by the Director of MEP WSP in Poland. The team at the moment numbers around 30 people and includes engineers and BIM coordinators.
WHAT IF IT WAS YOU?
Our requirements:
- Higher technical education in related field;
- Minimum 10 years of experience in design;
- Experience on the Romanian market (mandatory);
- License for Sanitary (HVAC and/or Plumbing Systems) engineering design with association of engineers in Romania would be an advantage;
- Knowledge of Construction Law, Norms and Standards in your field.;
- Ability to solve technical problems;
- Fluent English;
- Proficiency in engineering software: AutoCAD and other CAD software;
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel...)
